The qualified individual will be fluent in both Spanish and English, for both verbal and written communication purposes. This person will be responsible for assisting Spanish-speaking customers to help with the translation of their needs; will work with the sales department to communicate effectively with current and prospective customers; assist in all written communications dealing with correspondence in Spanish; maintain customer database and update accounts, as applicable. Must be a skilled communicator with a dynamic and engaging phone presence who excels in questioning, and listening, to determine the prospect’s needs.

You will help home furnishing buyer by answering inbound calls and taking orders, consulting on up-sells, as well as helping customers on how to effectively navigate the LightingUniverse.com website when searching for the best deals. You will use your communication skills to problem solve multiple customer services scenarios while ensuring the customer’s needs are satisfied.

The right full-time candidate will be motivated, team oriented and able to work flexible shifts (7 days a week, between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm). Must be a problem solver who can make independent decisions, be able to actively listen, and communicate clearly and concisely. Must exhibit patience and possess high energy. The successful candidate will possess a strong aptitude for customer service and teamwork. Lighting, home furnishing or design experience as well as call center experience is preferred. Seattle area e-commerce leader has an exciting opportunity for a talented, creative sales-oriented professional with a flair for design!  Allied Trade Group is seeking a strong sales professional who enjoys working with architects, designers, builders and homeowners.

While experience in the industry is highly desirable, we will also consider candidates who are starting out in the field, have strong customer service skills, great follow-through, and the ability to attain results. The ability to build relationships, project a positive attitude under pressure, and the ability to prioritize a variety of challenges are all important qualities in a successful candidate. Interested candidates should be goal-oriented individuals with excellent communications skills and a strong desire to succeed. Some interior design experience is a plus. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Securing and processing sales orders
• Supporting trade sales (i.e., answer phone calls, handle orders and sample requests)
• Maintaining image of showroom
• Providing information on architectural and design requirements
• Assisting and advising customers in the selection of product, tracking and following up on projects
• Working directly with custom home builders to build relationships
• Distribution and tracking of samples, labeling, and displaying new product in the showroom
  

Qualifications include:

• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Some experience in lighting fixtures, decorative plumbing fixtures, and/or floor covering sales desirable.
  
• As this position also requires the ability to visit customers, a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are also required.

Seattle area e-commerce leader, Allied Trade Group, has an exciting opportunity for a Content Specialist.  Duties include the creation and data entry of accurate and thorough product descriptions, the organization of products within categories, and ensuring the quality of the data on the site.

Candidates must be able to effectively communicate in English (both verbally and in writing). Excel experience and a high school diploma, or equivalent, are required. Familiarity with PhotoShop is a plus.
